The European Commission just published two articles about the successful EU Code Week 2019:

Thanks to continued efforts such as training teachers and supporting activity organisers, EU Code Week saw a continued expansion in 2019. EU Code Week is a grassroots initiative supported by the European Commission to help bring coding and computational thinking into the day-to-day work of classrooms worldwide as a part of the EU Digital Education Action plan.
