End 2021, the Commission has launched a new self-assessment tool that allows citizens to test their digital skills and access training opportunities appropriate for their needs.

The tool is available on the EU’s Digital Skills and Jobs Platform and Europass in all 24 EU official languages, as well as in Turkish, Serbian, Macedonian, Norwegian and Icelandic.

Based on the Digital Competence Framework, this free test covers information and data literacy, communication and collaboration, digital content creation, safety, and problem-solving. Following the test, the respondent will receive an assessment of their skill level that helps them identify how to improve and where to find the most appropriate training.
