On Thursday 31st March, the DSJC Luxembourg organised a webinar dedicated to the opportunities of the Digital Europe Programme (DEP) for skills.

Indeed as part of the DEP, up to €3 million of EU funding support will be dedicated to digital skills and in particular advanced digital skills.

The webinar was prepared in collaboration with Luxinnovation, also in charge of other programmes of the DEP.

This webinar started with an introduction from Claudine Kariger (Department of Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy of the Ministry of State) giving background and context on the work of the DSJC. Then, we had the opportunity to welcome Arthur Treguier (policy team at DG CONNECT, European Commission) and Geraud Gilloud (European funding advisor at Luxinnovation) for two presentations with insightful information about the programme and in particular the funding opportunities for Luxembourg.

The info day of the European Commission also took place online in March and can be watched for further details. In addition, a networking session is planned for April 7th online.

The Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition platform is the best place for partners to find collaboration opportunities as the deadline for “short term advanced digital skills” is fast approaching (May 17th).

Any interested parties may contact Geraud Gilloud from Luxinnovation, Marina ANDRIEU from the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition Luxembourg or Claudine Kariger from the SMC.
