The Competence Centre’s ITC Cluster proposes a one day workshop in collaboration with NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Institute (DLI).
Deep Learning is a subset of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Like Machine Learning, its goal is to help machines understand and interpret data. In a way, it can be seen as an attempt to make a computer think like a human brain, using neural networks in order to analyze numerous layers of data.
Combined with Computer Vision, a rapidly developing field, Deep Learning enables the development of applications that can be easily integrated into our daily lives. These new techniques include features like image classification, object detection, face recognition, etc.
This workshop is part of NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Institute. It aims at providing the basics of Deep Learning in Computer Vision by training and deploying neural networks.
Based on NVIDIA’s DLI cloud infrastructure, the workshop works with a web teaching platform to which you will gain access. You will work on hands-on exercises, receiving realistic experience in training, deploying and optimizing neural networks.
At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
- implement common deep learning workflows such as image classification and object detection
- experiment with data, training parameters, network structure and other strategies to increase performance and capability
- deploy networks to start solving real-world problems
